Just a quick one from me tonight.
If you haven't been over to Goodreads (link below), I'm holding a competition to win a signed copy of Angel in Training to celebrate the upcoming release. Actually, there are ten prizes up for grabs: books, bookmarks, key chains and a Mardis Gras mask (styles may vary).
Deadline is January 31st.
I want you all to meet Angel. She's a seeing dog for the blind. Or at least, she's an adorable puppy who is going to grow up to be a seeing dog.
I don't believe in New Year's Resolutions: if I want to change something in my life, why should I wait until January 1st to make them?
I do, however, believe in paying it forward and helping out where I can.
Sponsoring a Guide Dog is something that I've wanted to do for a long time but I've never been in a position (until now) to be able to help, and call it clichéd, but when I saw a puppy called Angel wanting to be sponsored, I took it as a sign that it was time to pay the karma forward.
I'm going to receive regular updates on how she's doing, so I'll be sure to keep y'all updated too. I can't wait to see this little cutie grow up and settle in with someone.
The thoughts and musings of an author who can't get her brain to shut off.
I don't like rating books. I think a 'good book', much like 'good music', is subjective.
